Digital Marketing Officer
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or any related field.
Technical knowledge and fluency in using software, tools and applications, as relevant to web and social medi.
At least three years in digital marketing with a focus on social media.

Responsibilitiesa) digital brand
b) social media communications (student, staff, public and corporate relations)
c) website content
d) digital graphics for online communications, presentations/publications, and films/other media
e) email marketing campaigns
f) influence outreach efforts (alumni, professional bodies, government agencies, corporate partners)
Regular activities will include:
b) scheduling and monitoring of social media posts on Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Instagram and other social media networks
c) creation and administration of highly engaging social media and website content (images, video and text)
d) serving as an advocate for the University in social media spaces, engaging in dialogues and answering questions where appropriate
e) production and maintenance of a publishing schedule based on analysis of posts, user engagement, web-traffic, and other metrics
f) generating analytics of content performance and recommendations for optimisation to senior management
g) identification of threats and opportunities in user-generated content; risk management and conflict resolution as appropriate
h) ensuring that appropriate branding and brand messages are used in University communications
i) providing photography and other media support at University events and functions including graduation ceremonies, conferences, public lectures, programme launches
