A social media manager is the individual in an organization trusted with monitoring, contributing to, and filtering, measuring and otherwise guiding the social media presence of a brand, product, individual or corporation. He/she is responsible to manage the relevant information between organisations or individuals and the right stakeholder. Their key focus area is to promote their clients to their intended audiences through various current and upcoming social media tools & technologies. He/she must be quick thinking, outgoing, not afraid to think outside the box and educate staff on the importance of social media, as well as the implementation of new technologies and campaigns. The successful candidate should have management or graduate qualifications with a specialization in the relevant department and should possess a minimum of 2 - 3 years of relevant experience in the same field. A Social Media Manager is expected to be a highly motivated person with strong Integrity, Confidentiality to meet with the organizational goals and should be keen to learn more, manage, communicate effectively and grow with the organisation.
